What else can I do?

• Have you got a anti-virus program installed and do you up-date it daily ?
• Have you got a firewall and is it never turned off ?
• Have you installed the recommended anti-spyware programs and are you up-dating and running them weekly ?

So what else can be done?

Download it NOW and try it - You will not be sorry.

Many virus's and malware's exploit 'holes' in the Windows operating system, Microsoft are continuously working to fix these problems but if you don't install these Microsoft 'fixes' on your system, you can leave your computer open to re-infection.

You should visit http://v5.windowsupdate.microsoft.com

Microsoft will scan your computer and tell you which 'critical' updates you need. Download and install them.

You must login to WINDOWS UPDATE with Internet Explorer
Mr. B.Gates will NOT download updates to FIREFOX or NETSCAPE !!!

DONT WORRY! Microsoft WILL NOT scan for unlicensed/pirate programs installed on your system nor will they pry into personal information (At least not yet!).

However if your operating system (Windows) is unlicensed, Microsoft may refuse to provide some updates.

If your on broadband turn on 'automatic update'.

If your using a 56Kb dial-up connection, turn off 'automatic update' but visit the up-date site once a week to check for up-dates.

Only fully licensed Windows operating systems are able to download, the Windows verification process can be simple or sometimes a pain in the butt! Get used to it! This is the way things are going.
